Base 55’s mission is to be of service, using collective efforts to enhance the lives of those in our communities with a focus on our youth. Especially for those who are traditionally underserved, we endeavor to make a positive impact, foster growth and opportunity.

Base 55 is the philanthropic brainchild of Michael James, known as Mike James to most. Mike is a professional basketball player who has the desire to be involved in giving back to the world. Base 55 will fulfill that desire by being of service and being a positive pillar in not only the community he grew up in but also multiple communities around the world.
